Group Classes - Flyfishing for Stripers on the American River
The American River is the perfect place for the predatory stripers to live and provide fly-fisherman with some exciting action including sight casting to fish over 50 pounds! Stripers live in the river year around with the majority of the population being migratory. In this class will we cover the important information needed to fish for stripers including access, equipment and the most productive times. Class will be held on the American River. Andy Guibord, local striper expert, will instruct this class.
Class Schedule
Class Duration: Classes are held Saturday mornings from 4:00 PM until dark.

Meeting Place: Kiene's Fly Shop
Equipment needed: Fly Rod and Reel Outfit #6-#8 weight rod, sinking tip fly line (teeny 200 style), or shooting heads, Leader (4’ 0X-2X), waders and valid fishing license with a delta enhancement stamp.
Class Fees: $50.00 per person

Payment/Cancellation Policy: Class must be paid for in full 14 days before the class date. Arrangements can be made for signups within the 14 day period. Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the class date will receive a full refund if paying check or cash. A 5% credit card processing fee will be charged on all credit card refunds. Cancellations made within 14 days of the class date will forfeit their full payment unless that space is filled.
