Group Classes - Beginning Fly Fishing

Beginning fly fishing is essential for those wanting to get an educated start in the sport of fly fishing. We will cover everything one might encounter when buying a first rod and reel outfit to tying knots and fly fishing presentations. During this 4 hour lesson the following topics will be covered and simplified preparing you for exciting future experiences on the water!

Equipment, Knots, Rigging, Entomology, Fly Selection, Reading Water,

Approaching , Presentations, Intermediate Casting, Wading and much, much more! This is a great class to really uncover and discuss fly fishing so that when you finish you'll have confidnese to approach the water. Students should have basic fly casting knowledge before taking this class.

Class Schedule

Class Duration: Classes are held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (4 hours) on the scheduled dates listed below.
Meeting Place: To be announced
Equipment needed: Notepad and pen or pencil. Basic rod and reel outfit, leader, waders, hat, polarized glasses and valid CA Fishing License.
Class Fees: $50.00 per person

Payment/Cancellation Policy: Class must be paid for in full 14 days before the class date. Arrangements can be made for signups within the 14 day period. Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the class date will receive a full refund if paying check or cash. A 5% credit card processing fee will be charged on all credit card refunds. Cancellations made within 14 days of the class date will forfeit their full payment unless that space is filled.
