On The Water Classes - Yuba River

Yuba River Sunset

Some consider this local fishery to be one of California's finest trout waters. Located 1 and 15 mins from Sacramento, Yuba River flows from Englebright Reservoir and provides excellent opportunities for dry fly and nymphing for wild rainbows up to 20 inches. This is a great class for anglers who want to develop trout fishing methods or just learn about one of the finest local trout fisheries. Advanced anglers will learn more technical presentations and casting techniques. We will cover everything from equipment and rigging to the variety of insect hatches the Yuba has to offer. Students signing up for this class should have basic knowledge of fly fishing or completed Beginning Fly Casting and Beginning Fly Fishing.
