Skeena Steelhead Spey Fishing School 08'

Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn about spey-fishing for famous Skeena River Steelhead. This ultimate spey-fishing school will be held in Terrace, British Columbia.  Spey Casting instructor Jeff Putnam will be providing fishing and casting instruction during this informative spey school.  The week will be spent on one of the world's most famous steelhead fisheries catching steelhead averaging 10-15lbs and fresh Coho salmon that will test your drag.  You’ll learn new skills and information about steelheading, equipment, and spey casting.  Nicholas Dean Lodge will provide accommodations and incredible meals.

This is a great time to experience hot summer steelhead chasing a waking surface fly.  Basic spey casting skills will be required for this school.   

Included in the school is a group spey lesson that will help to increase your spey casting and steelhead fishing skills before the trip. This lesson will be taught on the American River in Sacramento.

Fishing and Instruction Days:   Mon to Fri

Depart/Return Home:                 Sat, September 13th

Class Duration: September 7th- Arrive at Nicholas Dean Lodge

September 8th -12th - Fishing and instruction, September 13th-Depart

Class Fees: $3695.00 per person

Price includes Accommodations, meals and shuttle service to and from Terrace Airport.  Not included is air fair to and from Terrace, BC., fishing licenses and alchoholic beverages.

Payment/Cancellation Policy:
A deposit of $1850 is required to confirm a reservation; final payment is due 90 days prior to arrival at Nicholas Dean Lodge.
If cancellation occurs within 60 days, individual is responsible for total costs and no refund will be made unless replacement is provided.
Cancellation of 60 days prior of departure date will result in a refund of deposit less $25.00 per person-processing fee. Credit cards will be charged an additional 5% processing fee.

Flight Booking Information: From your location you need to travel to Vancouver, British Columbia International Airport.
From Vancouver, you fly either Air Canada or HawkAir direct to terrace which is about 1.5 hour flight to the Terrace Airport.
