The False Cast - This online instruction is from our latest project "Successful Fly Fishing for the Beginner" scheduled for release in July 2008. The false cast is an essential casting stroke that allows you to change direction, add distance, or dry off your fly. Each component of the false cast motion is presented from multiple viewing angles complimented with catch & release fishing.

Putnam's Casting Tips & Clips is an online instructional casting session addressing single-handed fly rod, and two-handed Spey rod casting techniques.

Jeff Putnam, a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Two-Handed Casting Instructor, is featuring a selected clip bi-monthly from one of his product videos, or HD stock footage for online viewing.

Many of our video segments can also be viewed and downloaded in Web, iPod/DVD or High Definition display resolutions from the Jeff Putnam's Fly Fishing Schools Video Vault.
