This video has been created for fly fisherman that wish to improve their odds in catching with a single-handed fly rod.

The video training will take an angler from just fishing . . . to catching fish by teaching:

Keeping the fly in the water - with the fish

How to eliminate false casting

Casting effectively where heavy cover is directly behind you

Casting with ease where there’s limited back casting space

This video instructional series covers a full range of intermediate & advanced Spey casting techniques with a single-handed fly rod, and is presented in both DVD widescreen, and 1080i high-definition HD DVD.

In other words, watch the video on a standard DVD player at home, or on a portable device while on a trip, and have the option to watch in high-definition on a home entertainment center today, or in the future!

Viewing the HD DVD instructional video in 1080i on a 60" screen, or larger is like looking out a VIP sky box window onto a streamside playing field taking lessons from a maestro fly caster.

Jeff is a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Two-Handed Casting Instructor, one of the most sought after instructors on the West Coast! Four instructional chapters comprising the roll cast, switch cast, snap-t cast, and snake roll cast are presented from several key viewing angles. The video incorporates slow-motion and overhead-view footage - providing powerful training perspectives of a proficient fly fisherman’s casting mechanics.

Each casting chapter ends streamside with casting catch and release fishing instruction introduced to compliment the cast.

There are dedicated chapters called Putnam's Notes that address the common problems of each cast, and one bonus 10 minute commercial free chapter of catch & release onstream instruction fishing for wild rainbow trout.

Both the DVD and HD DVD video discs are menu driven with the option to play the complete instruction set as a complete video, a single casting lesson, or single Putnam's Notes chapter individually.
