Four instructional chapters comprising the roll cast, switch cast, snap-t cast, and snake roll cast are presented from several key viewing angles. The video incorporates slow-motion and overhead-view footage - providing powerful training perspectives of a proficient fly fisherman’s casting mechanics.

Each casting chapter ends streamside with casting catch and release fishing instruction introduced to compliment the cast.

There are dedicated chapters called Putnam's Notes that address the common problems of each cast, and one bonus 10 minute commercial free chapter of catch & release onstream instruction fishing for wild rainbow trout.
