Group Lessons
Group Lessons are prescheduled and are designed for students to learn in a small group setting. These lessons are a great way to learn and experience specific topics with minimal effort in a relaxed setting. Equipment can be provided upon request. Class size is limited.
Beginning Fly Casting
In this introduction to fly casting class attendees will learn the basics of over-head fly casting. Covered in this lesson are the following topics: equipment, roll casting, pick up/lay down, the back-cast, false casting, timing, line speed, changing directions, increasing distance, forward stroke and presenting the fly. After attending this class you’ll be able to cast 30 – 40 feet utilizing the most efficient method available. Class size is limited to 6 people.

Beginning Fly Fishing
Sign up for this class to learn everything you need to know for your first trip to the water with a fly rod. We’ll cover many topics including equipment setup, knots, reading water, presentations, positioning, wading safety, hooking, landing and releasing fish. Class will be held on the Rogue River. Exact location to be determined. Attendees should have basic fly casting skills. A valid fishing OR license, waders and boots are required and are not provided. Class size is limited to 6 people.
